As you all have probably seen lately..I adore traveling. I love visiting new cities, as well as ones I have seen before, to try new and fun things I can’t do at home. Last weekend my family and I traveled to Chicago to see the beloved boy band, One Direction. This was our fourth time seeing the boys perform as it truly never gets old. My favorite part of a One Direction concert is that each one is uniquely different. You can tell that the boys are raw and not at all scripted. They are truly coming up with their jokes on the spot rather than speaking every word pre-rehersed like many do! I adore this part of the concert and think it makes them especially unique because it adds to the personality and really allows you to feel like you know the boys, so of course, it makes everyone adore them even more! My family and I started our trip on Saturday night (via driving 5 hours) and hit the ground running. We started the night off by stopping by my Chicago favorites, CUSP, Zara, Topshop, and the Adidas store before heading to dinner at the oh so famous RL at Ralph Lauren. I love eating here because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is a must see! The next morning we tapped it back at Soul Cycle and then spent the day at the Soho house before the concert. While the Soho house is private, they do have a public restaurant called the Allis I love going to for brunch! Their Allis Breakfast (pictured below) is to die for!! We then attended the concert and went back to our magnificent hotel, The Langham. I have been to Chicago many times and the Langham is definitely my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in! I have also stayed at the Langham in New York and absolutely adored it. The service, rooms, and overall atmosphere is indescribable.
This outfit I wore for the concert was absolutely perfect on a chilly, windy night! The leather top and statement necklace was a big hit with the suede jacket to keep me warm. I also adore my rag & bone booties and jeans as I can wear them absolutely everywhere, they are so comfortable. The jeans stretch easily but do not stretch too much and the boots never give me blisters! I cannot wait to carry this outfit into fall.
Jacket: Sold out from Zara, but love this one, this one, and this one
Top: Zara
Jeans: Rag & Bone
Necklace: White’s Mercantile
Booties: Rag & Bone
Until next time..
