How To Transition to Spring & Spring Slip-On Sneakers!

Happy first day of spring!! Can you believe it is already here?! Warm weather is coming but boy was it cold this weekend..With all my new spring pieces coming in though, I was dying to wear them!! I just couldn’t resist but since I knew I was going to be outside Saturday night, I made sure I looked cute, appropriate, and was comfortable with layers!! Layering is my favorite way to transition seasons because you can incorporate so many different pieces to compliment each other and be appropriate for any occasion. 

This spring, I am loving slip-on sneakers and could not wait to wear my new ones from Gregory’s !! I snagged these shoes last time I was in LA and honestly snatch any chance I can get to wear them. My mom, sister, and I all loved them so much we actually all got them in different styles and now want to by more!! While I got the black with roses, my mom got black snake skin and my sister got a bright silver pair. All of our shoes are so different so we never look alike, however each pair is so classic we all find ourselves wearing them everywhere with everything!

The platform gives me a little height (major plus) but they could not be further from uncomfortable, like many shoes with a platform, heel, or wedge. They are so comfortable I literally feel like I am walking on clouds! No joke, the soles are so soft and form to your feet so the more you wear them, the more comfortable they are.

Another aspect I love about these shoes is their amazing versatility. I literally wear them with my yoga pants to and from working out but I also wear them with a cute dress for a night out! They go with anything!! 

While they were a little pricy..I have already worn these shoes so much and loved every minute in them, I could not be happier with my purchase. Shop these and all my new favorite slip-on sneakers in a variety of prices and styles below!!

This outfit I am sharing below I wore to church and then to dinner before going out with some friends. As the night went on, I paired a leather jacket with the outfit too under my fur vest for some extra warmth and it was perfect!

  1. Must admit I love sneakers of most kinds, but have a pair of slip on’s like this that I just adore. I think they have been with me for years now but you wouldn’t know it. I have kept them in good shape. They are printed as well. I think that just goes with anything and makes an outfit a little more interesting.

  11. Transition to spring and all the new (and old) favorites you get to wear are a true joy to pull out and put on! That was a perfect outfit for both church and spending some quality time with loved ones and I can’t wait to toss off my coats and just be wearing sweaters 🙂
