Hi! As you all know if you have been following along..I just recently rung the new year in with my family in Naples, Florida! While traveling..one of my favorite things is food. I love going to new, fun, festive restaurants while traveling to experience all sorts of different environments and food! While I am a very plain-eater and enjoy many non flavorful, simple dishes, I can definitely tell a good salad or grilled meat from a bad one and I love being able to enjoy my food in a good atmosphere with good service! One of my favorite lunch spots while in Naples we found was located on the beach at the Vanderbilt Beach Resort called the Turtle Club. Here you could enjoy lunch on a beach patio in any attire you prefer (dress it up or wear your swim suit from the beach, anything goes!) or go a little nicer in the indoor restaurant. My favorite dish was the Honey & Almond Roasted Salmon but I subbed the Salmon for grilled chicken. I absolutely adored this dish as the sweet, fresh fruit went perfect with the almonds and grilled chicken. My mom also really enjoyed the Shrimp & Crab Napolean while my sisters enjoyed chicken fingers and fries served on a frisbee to take home after! This is definitely somewhere I would recommend for the whole family to enjoy lunch or dinner and spend time on the public beach either before or after eating. Lunch is walk-ins only from 11-2:30 and on popular days the wait can stack up fairly fast, however they do accept reservations for dinner and recommend them. Stop here to enjoy some beautiful scenery, amazing, fresh seafood, and then walk down to spend time at the public beach!
Lunch…
Afternoon Afterwards at the Beach!
Happy Travels!
