]]> Can you believe it?! Derby is less than a week away and the week leading up to Derby is beyond busy in Louisville..with the annual Boat race, Derby parties, Thurby (Thursday at the track), and many other Derby Festival events, a casual, throw-on dress is always needed. I love this outfit for any of these events I’ve mentioned, as well as just being a great go-to for any outdoor, fun, event. With jewelry and the right shoes, this dress can easily be dressed up but is also very casual paired with sandals. It’s great outfit to take from day to night! Plus-it’s very budget friendly. These pairings are especially great to wear to Thurby, as it is slightly more casual than Oaks and Derby. A cute dress with some fun accessories and a simple headpiece-you’ll be set for a day at the track and whatever event you may be attending after.

I absolutely adore this necklace because like the dress, it can be paired so many ways. Don’t even get me started on these shoes though..They are by far one of my favorite purchases I have made all year because of their amazing price! You may not believe it, but they were under $70. I know right? Totally crazy. If I had a dime for the amount of times people have mistaken me for wearing Valentinos..well let’s just say I probably could be treating myself to another pair.

This is a project I have been working on with the amazing Stephanie of How Sweet Designs and frankly..I’m in love.
