Happy Derby!! I hope you all had a fabulous Derby weekend, I know I did! This year I was lucky enough to go to the track for both the Oaks and Derby. The weather could not have been any better either day and I had an absolute blast !! There are so many festivities in Louisville the two weeks leading up to Derby that I am ready to catch up on some sleep! Below I am sharing what I wore this year to the track & a piece, I was so honored to be featured in, from Garden & Gun Magazine, for my outfit last year!
Garden & Gun piece..
This year I was so honored to be featured in an article in Garden & Gun Magazine for their favorite hats from 2014. I got this fascinator from Carol Bader last year at a local boutique Circe Louisville, I then paired it with a pair of nude heels I got from DVF and a Camilla and Marc dress that I got from the boutique H. Audrey in Nashville (if you ever find yourself going to Nashville, it is a must!). I love this boutique and also spend way more than I should whenever I go there, I would wear the whole store if I could! Check out the picture and article below!

Oaks 2015..
Aaron Rodgers, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers
This year for Oaks I was in the infield for most of the day which is much more casual than the rest of the track. To be comfortable and not too hot, I decided to wear these Alice & Trixie shorts paired with this tank top. This was the perfect choice as I was so comfortable all day and I was not too hot! I also loved this Rebecca Minkoff purse because I was able to fit all my necessities (sunglasses, money, makeup, etc.) and carry it easily as a cross body. Cobalt blue and tassels are both so big this year I just love it!

Barnstable Brown Party 2015..
Here is a photo of my friend and I from the Barnstable Brown party with Devin Booker, former University of Kentucky Basketball player. This year I only took one picture at the Barnstable Brown party since my phone was running very low on battery after a long day! I wore an old dress from Jay Godfrey because we decided to attend at the last minute. This dress is a great go-to for a more formal event because it is a great fit and sure to make a statement anywhere with it’s beautiful gold peacock feathers! I paired it with some dark heels but have worn this dress before with gold wedges as well.
Dress: Old from Jay Godfrey but love these here and here

Kentucky Derby Day 2015..

This year for Derby I wore an old dress of mine since I received a very last minute invitation to go! I bought this dress and shoes a couple of years ago from DVF and I love them both!! This dress is so bright it definitely stands out. It is also simple, yet the cutouts at the top make the dress very fun and “springy”. These shoes are also some of my favorites, I am so upset DVF does not carry them anymore or I would buy another pair! These shoes are honestly my go-to wedges because they are so comfortable and go with absolutely everything. Comfort is a big deal at The Kentucky Derby ! With their fun wedge and leather straps, they are sure to add to any outfit.
